Hadleigh Glass Privacy Policy

This policy applies whenever you visit our showrooms or go online to visit our website. It covers the following areas:

  • how we use your data;
  • what personal data we collect;
  • how we ensure your privacy is maintained; and
  • your legal rights relating to your personal data.

Updated January 2022

At Hadleigh Glass, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our customers. We are committed to respecting your privacy rights and will handle your data fairly and legally at all times. Hadleigh Glass is also dedicated to being transparent about what data we collect about you and how we use it.

Information that we collect from you

We hold personal information in our customer database in the UK (captured at survey and/or order) to provide you with the products and services that you are purchasing from us. We might also use your details to deal with any servicing and warranty requirements when you report any problems to us. We may also process details as
necessary to administer payments or we may share your details with external organisations such as FENSA where it is a requirement of the warranty we provide to you.

Hadleigh Glass will not sell, rent or trade email lists with other companies unless required by law.

Use of your information

Like most internet websites, we use “cookies,” small files that websites use to store information on your computer. For example, if you have viewed the video on our website, it is temporarily stored in cookies on your computer. We may also use cookies to track users as they travel through our website – for instance, to count the total number of unique users who are accessing the website over a particular period of time. We use this type of information to track website usage, to measure the number of visitors to the different sections of our website and to help us make our website more useful.

We also use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. We may perform statistical analyses of user behaviour in order to measure interest in the various areas of our website. Again, these analyses assist us in improvements to our site and services.

Security and standards

We take the issue of data privacy seriously. We have measures in place aimed at helping to keep your data secure and we take reasonable steps to protect the confidentiality of the personal information you supply. Please note however, that the transmission of information via the internet can never be guaranteed as entirely secure and therefore any transmission of data is at your own risk. We will only retain information we deem as necessary to provide the services discussed and for a reasonable period of time to provide aftersales services on those products.

Our website may contain links to websites operated and controlled by third parties. Those third parties have their own information collection practices. We are not responsible for their information collection practices or for the content of their sites. We encourage you to review carefully the privacy policies of all websites, including those websites which can be accessed from this site.

Please note for quality and training purposes our telephone calls may be recorded.
